Our story

In 2020, we made a decision that would change our lives forever. We decided to travel across the United States in an RV. We had always been passionate about adventure and exploring new places, but we were craving a new kind of experience. One that would allow us to slow down, connect with nature, and immerse ourselves in the beauty of this great country.

After researching our options and doing some serious soul-searching, we took the leap and purchased our first RV. We were nervous, excited, and full of anticipation for what lay ahead.

As we hit the open road and began our journey, we quickly realized that RV travel was not only a way of life but a calling. The freedom, flexibility, and sense of adventure that comes with RV travel captured our hearts and never let go.

We soon discovered that we weren’t the only ones who felt this way. Everywhere we went, we met other RV enthusiasts who shared our passion for exploration and the great outdoors.

Inspired by our experiences, we decided to create Wanderland RV, a resource for anyone who shares our love of RV travel and the open road. Our mission is to provide you with the knowledge, resources, and inspiration to make the most of your RV journey and discover the wonders of this beautiful world we call home.

Meet our Team

Shane Kelly

Shane can best be described as a different kind of soul. Shane grew up in Michigan and loves the beauty the state has to offer. Northern Michigan is his favorite area. He grew up in the outdoors riding dirt bikes and boating most of his life. In his spare time, he likes to geek out on his computer and listen to old punk rock music that no one has ever heard of (for the most part). Ha ha! He has a great sense of humor and is a lot of fun to be with. He also enjoys traveling to new places and relaxing after a long day. He likes driving so we let him do that part. Shane is the man with the plan!

Trisha Kelly

Trisha also grew up in Michigan but she would love to live somewhere a bit warmer. She does like the Michigan summers and all of the beauty the state has to offer. Trisha can best be described as laid back and easy going. She is also a bit goofy at times and laughs for no reason. She likes to travel and likes camping in her RV. She loves how it feels like home away from home. In her spare time, she likes to garden and listen to pretty much every type of music out there. Don’t ask her for her favorite song because she doesn’t know! And she probably sings the lyrics wrong anyway. Ha ha! She also enjoys cooking good food.

Buster Brown Douglas

Buster is an English Springer Spaniel. Buster is a great dog and very handsome too! He is very friendly and the most loving dog. He loves to give hugs and is very romantic. For real! He is also a great communicator as he can tell you what he wants and needs. He listens very well and does not leave the area he is in. He is highly trained to stay near and he does. Buster also loves to travel to new places. He enjoys long walks in the woods too! One of his favorite games is frisbee. He loves his red frisbee. 

Wally Bear

Wally is the cat. Wally is cute and friendly. He waits for us every morning so he can get his breakfast. His favorite food is chicken. He likes to be picked up and walked around so he can see everything. He also enjoys going on walks in his backpack. He is not an outside cat but he does go outside with us sometimes. He surprisingly stays right by us but we do keep an eye on him.  He also has a harness and leash we keep him on. It took him a minute to get used to the idea of camping in a trailer but he eventually got used to it. He finally accepted the fact that if he doesn’t want to stay home without us, he has to come.
